Saw these shoes a couple weeks ago on Jules from Sincerely Jules and ever since I
have been obsessing over finding them.

These things are sold out everywhere!!! Not only do I want them—I was actually in the
market for some new workout shoes. The search continues…Ebay may be my only hope.

So some exciting things are happening over here at the

We have been talking about adding on to our home for serval years and now
it is actually happening. Someone pinch me. The addition includes a dinning room and
master suite. Nothing has me more excited than thinking about designing the interior
of our new space.

The first thing we need to decide on is the new bathroom. It will not be a huge space but
I am hoping that since we are building it from the ground up we can customize it to make the
space work best for us. I am currently at a crossroads in design styles. I'm thinking somewhere
between french modern and rustic modern.

The mix may sound strange but I am thinking we can make it work. We are going to tile
the entire bathroom since we are going to do an open shower concept. The walls will be
white subway tiles and the floors will be white hexagon tiles. The thing that has me stumped
is the vanity. I went on a massive search this weekend hoping to find some solutions and
I got nothin. All of the standard ones at Home Depot and such are so boring and cheap looking
and the gorgeous beauties at Restoration Hardware cost an arm and a leg. I would like to find a
dresser or credenza and convert it but with work and life in general I'm thinking I would be
adding major stress on myself. Although it seems like the only option—HELP!

I have always admired Lily Alridge's comfortable cool style. Don't even get me started
on her is perfection. Lily always has on the perfect t-shirt and I have been on the
hunt to add some staple tees to my wardrobe.

I was beyond thrilled when I heard she has collaborated with Velvet Tees to design
some pieces. Some of which happened to be simple tees! So I jumped ahead and ordered the
Caleb Tee in Ink Drop and White & the Leslie Luxe tank top in neon pink. Hopefully I will
like silhouettes and I may have jumped the gun...I just had a feeling these would be good.

Designed a quick note to send to family and friends to thank them for birthday gifts.

The theme is party panda to commemorate my trip to Hong Kong.

We were lucky enough to stumble upon an Andy Warhol exhibit at the Hong Kong
Museum of Art. There were so many pieces from his collection that I have never
seen so I was beyond thrilled.

Our hotel had this elaborate chandelier in the lobby which changed from Christmas themed
to Chinese New Year themed during our stay. I love the vibrant colors in Hong Kong Dollars
so I still have some in my wallet to brighten things up in there.

Our trip to The Peak was amazing...something I will never forget. It was a great way to
kick-off my birthday celebration in Hong Kong!

I turned 26 while we were overseas and it definitely made it a birthday to remember.
We had a day trip to China for work on my birthday so we did some celebrating the day
before and ended the night with some champagne and dessert!

Hong Kong is now one of my favorite cities and I cannot wait to go back!

Happy Friday!

Such a cheesy holiday but it is fun none the less.
I think we will be celebrating with sushi & champagne.

Tomorrow we will have part two of my Hong Kong Photo Diary!

Wanted to share some photos from my trip to Hong Kong. Even though I have only been
back for a week…looking back through these photos make me feel like it was months ago!

I have always enjoyed the ornate details in oriental architecture. My grandparents used to
have a house that was oriental-styled that I was extremely fond of and these temples
brought back memories.

The time change was super hard to used to. I do not think that I got a solid night's sleep
until the second to last day of the trip.

Passed by a Coach store while I was in Hong Kong and their new line caught my
attention instantly. The spectrum of colors is amazing and I'm having a hard time
choosing which one I like best.

Haven't considered shopping at Coach for a handbag since high school...
those tassels have me thinking differently.

I still have not been able to fill my need for a loafer pump since I have been unable to
snag these. Stumbled upon these beauties today and they come pretty close!

Head over heels in love with these whimsical caps.

Mary Kate McDevitt is the artist behind Handwritten Letters and she crafts up these
gorgeous caps and send them to people who subscribe to her email list. I think is a great
way to get yourself motivated to practice lettering daily. Lettering is something I used to be
quite fond of but haven't done things by hand in a long time. Seeing her work gets me all
inspired to jump back in.
