I am starting a new colmun called { Favorite Thursday }
Thursday is my favorite day of the week, so every week I will share
a couple things I have been spying lately.

Our trip last week to the British Virgin Islands with my whole family
was one of the best trips I have ever been on. So many memories made.

I am still trying to gather all of the photos of the trip, but I wanted to share these.

Tomorrow morning we are headed out for a much needed vacation.
British Virgin Islands, here we come!

Love these looks by Manning Cartell.

Those stripes + those colors...

I have been coveting these Proenza Schouler gold wedges since the fall. Why I didn't buy them
when I saw them on sale over the winter... I will never know because now that I am ready to purchase
these beauties they are nowhere to be found. They are the most perfect gold wedge I have ever seen.

While the Proenza Schouler wedges are still at the top of my list, these Jimmy Choo
espadrilles entered my life a couple days ago when a friend at work had them shipped to
the office and they quickly climbed to the top of my list. They are perfection. If I can find
them in my size, they might be my new gold wedges that I have been searching
tirelessly for. But, these DVF wedges are a close contender.
This dilemma is what my husband would call a champagne problem.

Busy seems to be the only word I can think of these days, which has its ups and downs.
Ups: feeling good about some new design projects coming my way and finally getting around
to some of the house projects I have had on my list for quite some time.
Downs: constantly feeling tried (like Sadie in the photo above) and putting things like
laundry and dishes before blogging.

Luckily, this past weekend I managed to spend most of it outside. Festival going on Saturday
and camping and climbing on Sunday. The husband is an execellent climber and has tried to get
me into ever since we met... it has taken me four years to finally give it a good try. I am proud to
say that on Sunday I finished my first route. All the way to the top, which instantly made me realize
that I am very scared of heights. I had so much fun though and I'm pretty sure it will become more
of a regular thing. Plus, it can't hurt to get extra points from the husband.
