Recently, West Elm has been my happy place. Everything is styled so beautifully with a
mixture of textures and unexpected color palettes. I cannot help but feel inspired when I am in
the store or browsing the catalog. So this weekend when the husband suggested that we take
a trip to West Elm, I could not be more excited. And what is even better is... we bought this bed!
Our first official nice piece of furniture we bought together.

I could have left the store with so much more. As for the bar, the mugs & the flatters,
those are next on my list. I die for those fish illustrations!

Oh yeah, and I bought this tonight and I am so excited!

This picture of Brad correctly portrays how I feel today. I had a killer week at work trying to
finish up a project and I have also been working on a freelance project. This is the first weekend
in a long time that the husband and I have nothing planned and it feels great.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Today, I was pleased to discover Yours is the Earth an illustration based
print, stationery, and goods company. Their focus is food and they do it well.
I need one of their prints hanging in my kitchen.

Don't even get me started on their upcoming wedding stationery collection.

Such beautiful hand-drawn type and cute little illustrations. Plus thoughtful color palettes.

Love. Love. Love.

It is hard for me to believe there was a time before Pinterest, which sounds ridiculous
but it is true. Tonight I started digging through the folder on desktop where I used to
collect all of my images pre-pinterest and it me made thankful that I am now able to keep
all my images organized in one place. Because I gathered these photos pre-pinterest days
I do not have the credits for where I found these (which is another big plus Pinterest).
So if anyone knows the source for any of these, please let me know!
It is nice to look back through old inspiration.

We are taking a quick trip this weekend to stay at a bed and breakfast
and to spend some time with family on Easter.

I hope the Easter bunny brings me these Pantone easter eggs!

Stumbled upon these prints by Scott Massey recently. Loving the simple color palettes
and use of pattern. These prints are part of a series Colab, where Massey teamed up with
Brookes Reeder & Paul D'Elia.

There are no words. I NEED 'em.

1 //  2  //  3 & 4  //  5  //  6  //  7

I have been super inspired by nature lately. Particularly ferns, cacti, and pink flowers.
I have dreams of a lush yard and I am going to try and make it happen this year. It will be
a lot of work but it will most certainly be worth it.
